“I used to leave appointments with a list of things I forgot to ask. Here the hour was long enough that I asked them all, and Bee wrote down the answers.”
Physical therapy in Edina
A full hour with the person treating you
Tilde is a one-therapist practice. Each visit is an hour with Bee Ly: time to be heard, examined and treated, and to leave knowing what comes next.

The hour, minute by minute
What happens in an hour
A tilde means about. The minutes are a guide, and the hour bends toward what you need most.
- 01~20 min
Step 1: You arrive, and tell your story
Bee meets you at the door. No one is waiting behind you. Say what you would like from the hour, in your own words. She asks about your work, your week and what you've already tried, and listens first.
- 02~10 min
Step 2: A hands-on exam
Movement, strength and touch, explained as they happen. You hear what she finds, and what it might mean, before anything is decided.
- 03~25 min
Step 3: Treatment and movement
Hands-on work, then exercises you try in the room so you can do them at home. She explains the risks of anything she does before she does it.
- 04~5 min
Step 4: A plan on paper
What comes next and why, how to practice at home, and a written estimate if you want more hours. Nothing is decided in a hurry.
Your therapist
Meet Bee Ly
Bee is a physical therapist and the only clinician at Tilde. She opened the practice so that an hour could mean an hour: one person, from your first question to your plan.
She works with adults who want more time than a busy clinic can give, and she tells you plainly when something is outside what physical therapy can do.

Self-pay, in plain words
Paying for your hours
We do not bill Medicare or other plans
You pay Tilde directly. Bee tells you the fee for an hour before you book it, and it doesn't change with your plan.
A receipt for your plan
After each visit you get an itemized receipt, called a superbill, that your plan may or may not reimburse. We can't tell you in advance.
HSA and FSA cards
Many health savings and flexible spending cards can be used for physical therapy. Your plan administrator has the last word.
Ways to work together
Your history, an exam, first treatment and a written plan
The one-on-one hour, once the plan is made
Follow-up hours paid together, with terms in writing
Running, lifting, skating and skiing

What clients say
“It felt like working with one person who knew my whole story. I never had to explain it twice.”
“Bee told me what she was going to do before she did it, and what it might feel like. I was never surprised.”

Questions people ask first
Do I need a referral?
In Minnesota you can start without a referral. Your plan may still ask for one, and Bee will send you to a physician if what she finds needs one.
Do you take insurance?
We do not bill Medicare or other plans. You pay Tilde directly, and you can ask for a receipt to send to your plan.
How long is a visit, and who treats me?
An hour, with Bee Ly, a physical therapist, for the whole time. There are no assistants or aides.
Will it hurt?
Bee works within what you can tolerate and tells you what she is about to do. You can ask her to stop or change course at any point.
Can I talk to someone first?
Yes. Ask for a free 15-minute phone call. It is only about fit, and no care is given on it.
Book your first hour
Choose a time in Bee's calendar, or ask for a free 15-minute phone call first.
