How fees work
If you pay yourself
You pay Tilde directly for each hour, by card or with an HSA or FSA card. Bee tells you the fee for an hour before you book it. We do not bill Medicare or other plans.
The fee depends on the kind of hour: the first hour, a follow-up hour or a video hour
A few reduced-fee hours are held open each month. Ask when you call, and you won't be asked why
Receipts for reimbursement
After each payment you get an itemized receipt, called a superbill, that your plan may or may not reimburse. We can't tell you in advance, so ask your plan before you count on it.
An estimate in advance
Before your first visit, you get a written Good Faith Estimate of what your care is likely to cost. If a bill comes in $400 or more above the estimate, you have the right to dispute it. Ask for a new estimate whenever the plan changes.
Checking your benefits
We don't check benefits, because we don't bill your plan. If you hope to be reimbursed, call your plan first and ask what it pays for out-of-network physical therapy and what a receipt must show.
What the first visit includes
A full hour with Bee Ly, a physical therapist: your history, a hands-on exam, first treatment and a written plan. She explains the risks of any technique before she uses it. What comes next is decided with you, not that day.
Keeping the cost in view
An estimate in writing
You see what care is likely to cost before it starts, and again whenever the plan changes.
Reduced-fee hours
Bee holds a few open each month. You don't need to explain why you're asking.
Terms in writing
A block of hours comes with its term, cancellation and refund terms before you pay.
