Questions and answers

Do I need a referral?

In Minnesota you can start without a referral. Your plan may still ask for one. If Bee finds something that needs a physician, she tells you and helps you take the next step.

Does my plan cover this, and do you take Medicare?

We do not bill Medicare or other plans. You pay Tilde directly, and you can ask for a receipt to send to your plan.

What if I pay myself?

That is how Tilde works. You get a written Good Faith Estimate before your first visit, and you can ask for a new one whenever the plan changes.

How long is a visit, and who treats me?

An hour, with Bee Ly, a physical therapist, for the whole time.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on what you want, what the exam finds and how you respond. Bee reviews the plan with you as you go, and a shorter course is always fine.

What should I wear and bring?

Clothes you can move in, your phone, any imaging reports or surgeon's notes, a list of your medicines and the shoes you walk in.

Will it hurt?

Bee works within what you can tolerate and says what she is about to do. You can ask her to stop or change course at any point.

Do you offer video visits?

Yes, for people who are in Minnesota when the hour begins, where Bee is licensed.

Do you treat work or auto injuries?

You can see Bee for an injury at work or in a car. We don't bill workers' compensation or auto plans, so you pay directly and may ask your plan about a receipt.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card?

Many health savings and flexible spending cards can be used for physical therapy. Your plan administrator has the last word, so check before you pay.
